| We use three different types of wood: Ebony - A dark black-brown wood Ebony color varies from region to region. The Ebony here in Indonesia tends to be dark brown to black with a bit of lighter brown grain. Paudauk - An orange wood - slight grain Coconut - Brown with darker brown spotted grain. | |
| 2. | What about the toxicity of these woods? |
We have chosen to work with these particular woods because they are generally considered not toxic. We have not had any problems, but everyone reacts differently - so just pay attention to your body. |

| 3. | How do you finish the wood Jewelry? |
We treat all pieces made in wood with a beeswax and natural oil mixture that is actually edible. |

| 4. | Can I stretch with wood? |
| Generally, we don't recommend this because it is a porous material and if skin breaks during the stretch infection can occur. If you choose to stretch with wood please pay attention and go slowly. | |
| 5. | How should I take care of my wood jewelry? |
| The most important thing to remember about wood jewelry is that it must be oiled periodically using jojoba, almond, grape seed, or mineral oil. If this is not done the wood will dry out and crack. Most of our designs have been made in very humid conditions. When you receive the pieces oil immediately, and then continue to oil periodically whether the piece is being worn or is on display in a case. | |
| 6. | Can I get my wood body jewelry wet? |
| We don't recommend long exposure to water and especially not chlorinated water. We do, however, recommend that you clean the pieces with a damp cloth and a mild soap and then re-oil. | |
| 7. | What kind of horn do you use? |
We use Buffalo horn (black), deer antler, moose antler, and cow bone. |

| These are reproductions of original Borneo tribal designs. | |
| 10. | What is a Boma or Ganesha that you use in some designs? |
| Boma is the name of a Balinese Guardian spirit. He is believed to ward off demons and protect against evil Spirits. Ganesha, elephant headed God in Hindu religion is the God of all new beginnings and remover of obstacles. | |
| 11. | How should I take care of the bone, stone, brass or silver jewelry? |
| Wash the pieces periodically with soap and water and be aware that the pieces can be fragile so handle with care. Keeping the bone and horn lightly oiled is also recommended. Brass and silver can be polished with a commercial brass or silver-polish, and then make sure you wash the pieces thoroughly. | |

| Yes, we always enjoy trying new designs. If you have an idea - let us know and we will give it our best. | |
| 13. | You have listed sizes with each piece. What if I want a different size? |
| Custom sizes can easily be ordered in wood plugs. Sometimes we are able to make the other designs larger or smaller Let us know exactly what you are looking for and we will get back to you about the possibilities. | |
| 14. | Are there any pieces that would be good for genital piercings? |
| Not really - but I'm sure you can be creative - just be aware of your body's response. | |
| 15. | Can I buy one piece instead of the pair? |
| No, we ask that you purchase our jewelry in pairs. | |
| 16. | How long does it take to get my order? |
| If the item is in stock we can ship it out within two days. If the item needs to be custom made then it takes about 10 production days. some orders are shipped directly from Bali and delivery time can take up to 10 days. | |
| 17. | If I place an order what kind of information do you need? |
| Check the order inquiry page - but generally we need to know the style code, name, size, material, and quantity. | |
| 18. | What is your return policy? |
| For Hygienic reasons, once the jewelry is received it can not be returned. We will, however, immediately replace any jewelry that is received damaged. |
